BIOGRAPHY
Ms Aysegul Bıckıcı is a Turkish linguist who graduated from the Department of Turkology, Mimar Sinan University. Since she gained her teaching qualification from the same university she has been teaching Turkish Language/Literature in primary, secondary schools and after school education centres.
Through proofreading projects that she embarked on during her university years, she got involved in the publishing industry. She succeeded in book and magazine editorship and executive editor positions.
She became event presenter in IBB (İstanbul Metropolitan Municipality) after completing her Elocution, Presenter and News reporter training. Subsequently, she acted as a news broadcaster, news editor and programme presenter for TV channels.
She established a career in the media industry, yet she never ceased teaching. She directed a number of education programmes for TV. She delivered elocution lessons for state and private media training centres.
Apart from being a well sought after presenter for fairs and events, she also carried out voiceover projects for various companies.
She completed Teaching Turkish as a Foreign Language training accredited by Yildiz Technical University, TOMER and Yunus Emre Institute.
Ms Aysegul Bıckıcı established AB TEACHING & MEDIA in London, which provides media services to radio and TV channels and Turkish GCSE/A Levels and Elocution lessons for Foreigners and Bilingual Turkish descendants.
